Accounts Executive (Full-Time)
Crosscraft is currently looking for a positive and highly motivated individual to join its dynamic team in the position of Accounts Executive on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Posting of supplier invoices, supplier reconciliations and preparing payments.
- Carry out account / bank reconciliations.
- Assisting in Payroll preparation and salary payments.
- Credit control management.
- Monitor payments.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT Returns.
- Complete all accounting duties up to trial balance stage.
- Compilation and submission of National Statistics Office declaration when required.
- Assist with reporting, forecasts, and audit queries.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
- Perform other related work as necessary.
Competencies & Requirements
- At least 1-2 years previous experience in an accounting position.
- In possession of a diploma in Accounting or is in the initial stages of obtaining certification in ACCA.
- Knowledgeable in accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Must be computer literate and Microsoft Office proficient. Knowledge of Xero software will be considered an asset, but training will be provided.
- Highly organised with a can-do attitude.
- Good command of English / Maltese language.
- Organised and self-motivated, who is also willing to learn.
- Detail oriented, self-disciplined and problem solver.
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Clean police conduct.
