Accounts Executive (Full-Time)

Crosscraft is currently looking for a positive and highly motivated individual to join its dynamic team in the position of Accounts Executive on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Posting of supplier invoices, supplier reconciliations and preparing payments.
  • Carry out account / bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting in Payroll preparation and salary payments.
  • Credit control management.
  • Monitor payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT Returns.
  • Complete all accounting duties up to trial balance stage.
  • Compilation and submission of National Statistics Office declaration when required.
  • Assist with reporting, forecasts, and audit queries.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
  • Perform other related work as necessary.

Competencies & Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years previous experience in an accounting position.
  • In possession of a diploma in Accounting or is in the initial stages of obtaining certification in ACCA.
  • Knowledgeable in accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Must be computer literate and Microsoft Office proficient. Knowledge of Xero software will be considered an asset, but training will be provided.
  • Highly organised with a can-do attitude.
  • Good command of English / Maltese language.
  • Organised and self-motivated, who is also willing to learn.
  • Detail oriented, self-disciplined and problem solver.
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Clean police conduct.
