Meringue Christmas Trees

These meringue Christmas trees are so simple to make and can be decorated with any colour sprinkles you wish. Serve with seasonal berries and some whipped cream or give as a gift.

Meringue Christmas Trees

Ingredients

  • 4 Egg Whites
  • 250g Caster Sugar
  • Green Food Colouring as needed
  • Sprinkles as needed

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven - 100°C
  2. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  3. Attach Whisk
  4. Add egg white to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Whisk until soft peaks form - 5 min, Speed Max
  6. Add caster sugar to the Kenwood Bowl gradually while machine is running
  7. Whisk until glossy - 3 min, Speed Max
  8. Then add green food coloring to the Kenwood Bowl
  9. Whisk until well combined - 30 sec, Speed Max
  10. Transfer mixture to piping bag
  11. Pipe a circle onto the prepared baking trays and swirl up to a point with the piping bag to create a tree shape
  12. Decorate with sprinkles
  13. Bake until crispy - 1 hr, 100°C
  14. Remove from oven and let cool
  15. Serve
