Ingredients (makes about 10–12 balls)

  • 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup boiled sweet corn (or peas)
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 3 tbsp bread crumbs (plus extra for coating)
  • A little oil, for greasing and brushing

Instructions – How to Make Cheesy Veggie Balls in the Philips Air Fryer

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, carrots, corn, pepper, salt, corn flour, and bread crumbs. Mix well into a soft dough.
  2. Take a small portion of the mixture, flatten it slightly, and place a little grated cheese in the center.
  3. Roll into a ball, making sure the cheese is sealed inside.
  4. Roll the ball in bread crumbs for a crispy coating. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  5. Preheat the Philips Airfryer to 180°C.
  6. Grease the basket lightly with oil and place the veggie balls inside.
  7. Brush the tops with a little oil and air fry at 180°C for 12 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with ketchup or a mild dip.
